Article Ideas: 5 Categories To Fit Them All

It all starts with «The Big 5»

When I decided to start writing on Medium, my biggest scare was drying out of Ideas after the first week.

One month has passed and I can tell you that the snowball is halfway down the hillside with unstoppable force. After only four weeks I have collected 74 article Ideas.

The Big Five:

My system revolves around five categories I want to write about. These broad categories are the foundation that I build my ideas upon.

The Big Five are:

  • Love
  • Interest
  • Learn
  • Bad
  • Hate

I then ask myself these questions:

  • What do I love to do? The things I love are often the things I’m good at.
  • What interests me?
  • What would I like to get better at? New skills I want to learn?
  • What am I bad at? And what do I need to get better at?
  • What do I hate? The things that…
